Requirements
- Platform: iPhone / iPod touch. iPad behavior depends on device and OS support.
- OS: Current App Store builds target iOS 17 and later.
- Network: Required for list refreshes, online article viewing, source-site content, purchases, ads, and saved-search checks. Offline reading only works for saved snapshots.
- Source sites: Wikidot and other source-site layout changes or maintenance may cause temporary display issues or slower loading.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need an account or login?
- No. SCP Docs is designed for browsing without a Wikidot account. Editing articles or posting comments follows each official source site's rules.
- Which branches and languages are supported?
- SCP Docs supports the English main SCP Foundation archive plus the Japanese, French, Russian, Korean, Spanish, Polish, Chinese, Thai, German, Italian, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Czech, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, and Indonesian branches. Switching branches changes Home, search, in-app lists, article destinations, and the app UI language. SCP International and translated archive entry points are listed where catalog data is available.
- Find and read SCP articles
- Number, title, tag, Object Class, length and Wiki score searches are free. History, ratings, reminders, widgets and the observation summary, activity log and reading backlog are free. Favorites: 20; read later: 100.
- Premium
- Premium removes ads and unlocks highlights, memo editing, text-to-speech, offline saving, folders, memo and personal-record searches, saved searches and new-match alerts, plus detailed observation analysis. Favorites and read-later have no subscription quota (10,000-item safety limit per list). Monthly and yearly plans are available.
- Share from one screen
- Choose URLs, titles, article text, memos and highlights separately; your choices are kept for next time. Preview before sharing, copying, saving a file or sending to a registered destination. Open the card/post editor from the same screen. Article text is available from the current ready article in the reader; it is not fetched in bulk from Library lists.
